ONE OF THE FIRST WOMEN to break the glass ceiling of landscape architecture, with reviews in Home Magazine, Pictorial Magazine, Sunset Magazine, House Beautiful, Home and Gardens, Design West where she was selected along with nine other men, as the "most outstanding" around the world. She also taught landscape architecture at the college level.

A collection of architectural design is slated for publication in the near future.

THE WRITER OR ARTIST CAREERS did not begin when J. Shamma turned 80, but the time had come for stacks of writings and skills with 3-D and 2-D tools and devices, along with joining forces with Heroes' Hearts Inc. prompted J. Shamma-McShain to publish her very unique and wonderous works.
